Catherine Beard works with government and other key decision makers on issues of concern to exporters and manufacturers.

Catherine has spent the last 20 years as a lobbyist and advocate for several industries, including on climate change issues for the energy intensive sector, all aspects of the fire and general insurance sector and dairy issues in the agricultural sector.

She represents BusinessNZ at the Global Federation of Competitiveness Council. Catherine also co-founded a design and manufacturing business that won national design awards for children’s furniture.
