Our seminars are designed to educate you about the different GS1 applications and how to integrate them into your business.
Bar Code Foundation Seminar
Do you need help with:
- Creating, allocating and managing your bar codes
- Understanding bar code technical standards - type, size, location, etc
- Using MyGS1
- Improving your supply chain and inventory control
This half-day event is designed for new members and anyone wanting to improve their knowledge of bar code management and standards. You will gain the confidence to apply GS1 compliant bar codes to your products.
Investment:
Members - $199 + GST
Non Members - $299 + GST
New Full Members of GS1 receive complimentary voucher(s) valid for one year.

Bar code foundation seminars are held at least quarterly in Wellington, Christchurch and Auckland. The seminar will also be held in other regions throughout the year.
GS1net Foundation Seminar
Running just under a full day, this seminar is particularly important for suppliers to Foodstuffs, Mitre 10, ITM and Warehouse Stationery, because in New Zealand these retailers have chosen GS1net as a keyway to receive product catalogue data from their suppliers.
We cover all the important aspects of the concept of data synchronisation and how GS1net can be implemented in your organisation to help improve customer relationships.

GS1net Browser Template Detailed User Training
GS1 New Zealand is offering a 'refresher course' for users of the Browser Template tool. This training is designed for those already using the Browser Template and who may need additional help, tips, and tricks to better utilise this tool.
This half day session will cost $99 + GST and address topics such as:
- Key features of the Browser Template (e.g. configuration, default values)
- Recap on key 'Business as Usual' processes:
- New ranged products
- Price/ product changes
- Product discontinuation
- GS1net Live process overview/ tips for your customers.
