GS1net Supplier Information

The New Zealand rural sector has now ratified the GS1net data requirements and business rules. These data requirements are split into a Quick Start and Industry dataset.

The Quick Start represents a slimmed down dataset, focusing on Base Units only, and allows suppliers to come on - board GS1net quickly for those customers that can support the Quick Start model.

The intention is that suppliers will then work towards the Industry dataset, which will provide richer information abut their products to be utilised by all rural traders. The Industry dataset is based on the Hardware GS1 Action Group (HGAG) dataset.

Alternatively suppliers can elect to use the Industry dataset from day one.
