We work closely with various industries in New Zealand, helping to educate and inform managers and staff about supply chain solutions specific to their operations.
GS1 New Zealand will be found at many industry events around the country. We have long-standing associations with the Agricultural Fieldays, MHL (Materials Handling Logistics), Foodtech Packtech and Romeo Bragato (the premier wine growers’ conference). We are always keen to hear about conferences and trade shows that members see as important, so keep us informed about opportunities for exhibiting and sponsorship.
Natcoll & GS1 NZ team up for a creative bar code competition
GS1 New Zealand is sponsoring Natcoll design students to come up with a winning creative bar code design. This collaborative competition has been running for a few years now and is for students in the Diploma of Computer Graphic Design course who are trained by GS1 NZ staff on global bar code standards. The students designs need to comply to these standards and pass GS1 NZ verification while also adding some design creativity to increase the attractiveness of the packaging.
