GS1 Professional Services team offers a number of solutions to assist
companies with their Data Synchronisation integration and implementation
projects. Regardless of the size of your company, you can take advantage
of the vast experience, expert guidance, and independent advice the Professional
Services team has to offer in ensuring your Data Synchronisation project
is delivered within scope and minimised time and cost to become Data
Sync Ready.
In terms of GS1net the implementation services offered are compromised
of Pre-Implementation services and those for use during the project itself.

GS1net Education and Training Session
This is a “Pre-Implementation” service offering which provides an introduction to GS1net and covers the following key topics:
- An introduction to the online system
- Key GS1net concepts
- GS1net Catalogue Structure
- Static Item and Pricing data values
- Data Uploads
Sessions can also be tailored to support the training of your GS1net
team members and users on how to use GS1net within their respective roles.
This type of session is predominantly used prior to a project being formally
kicked-off. It is also often repeated in a tailored fashion for your GS1net
users prior to becoming GS1net Live.

stakeholders, and relevant company roles

GS1net Data Collection Workshop
A Pre-Implementation offering designed for companies that have typically less than 100 GTINs and where the responsibility for GS1net will reside with one or two staff members. The workshop provides a base understanding of GS1net and commences the data collection requirement. The following key topics are covered:
- An introduction to the online system
- Key GS1net concepts
- GS1net Catalogue Structure
- Static Item and Pricing data values
- Data Upload Methods
- GS1net online tool
- Physical collection of a subset of your data
This session is often used as a means of kick starting the work required to become GS1net Ready.
Benefits:
- Provides a baseline understanding of GS1net to key personnel
- Ability for key personnel to continue with the GS1net project on their
own accord

GS1net Requirements Definition Workshop
This Pre-Implementation offering is designed for companies of any size wishing to formalise their GS1net project to help ensure success. Aimed at key project stakeholders and potential project resources, the workshop provides a detail understanding of the requirements to become GS1net Ready. The workshop provides the following:
- Data Synchronisation Training
- Analysis of the current status of applicable business processes and data environment
- Identification of high level data and business process gaps
- GS1net Project Tasks and Milestones
- Resource Planning
- GS1net Milestones
- Resource Allocation and Planning recommendations
- Key next steps
Following the 1 day workshop, a report summarising the results of the
workshop is provided to the customer as a deliverable.
This session is often used prior to a project being formally kicked off.

Provides a basis for enabling resources
Functional document allowing the commencement of GS1net project
Provides baseline for resource and cost allocation

GS1net Essential
This service is offered during the Implementation phase of the GS1net project. It provides the minimum level of GS1 support required to become GS1net Ready. The following components are included:
- Access to the GS1net help-line (Capped)
- Distribution for GS1net reference documentation
- Post Registration “Kick-Off & Documentation Review Meeting”
- Access to weekly remote training sessions
- Two data validations with supporting corrective action report
- GS1net Ready review and Signoff
In order to become GS1net Ready, each company on-boarding onto GS1net must select this service level as a minimum requirement.
Benefits:
Ensures you have the knowledge and the tools to perform the project yourself
Makes sure you are ready before engaging you customer in the final steps to active data synchronisation

GS1net Fast Track
This service is designed for companies that need help becoming GS1net Ready in the shortest time possible. A member of the GS1 GS1net team will visit you on-site to deliver the following:
- Prepare your catalogue
- Populate your data into GS1net
- Train key staff on how to use and maintain GS1net
- Certification of GS1net Ready status
Please note this service is based on collecting and maintaining
the data using our formatted spreadsheet tool. It does not
involve adding to, or cleansing of, any data within your internal
systems.
The time it takes us and the cost to you depends on the number of products within your catalogue and your customer's data requirements.
Benefits:
Provides the minimum impact to your business in meeting the GS1net requirements
Allows GS1 to focus on what we do well and you to focus on how to maintain
the solution once set-up

This service offering is specifically tailored to those companies who need to engage expert, experienced and knowledgeable resources within GS1 Professional Services team during their GS1net Implementation project. The Professional Services team can assist you with some or all of the implementation activities, encompassing the following offerings:

This solution has been designed for companies who have completed their
catalogues and require some assistance before being certified GS1net
Ready. While on-site, the GS1 Professional Services resource will conduct
an assessment of your project status by reviewing the following key activities:

- GS1net product range and catalogue structure
- Trading partner access
- Data upload method
- Project team & sustainability responsibility
- GS1net training assessment
