The tools presented below are free of charge, making it easier for the
users to understand the structure of a suite of schemas, the
relationships between them and more. They provide a map of the schemas,
helping users to decide which implementation packets they need to
download . The XML messages are represented in a tree structure view.

standards can use the GS1 XML Reader. It is easy to use and provides
clearly arranged information on the content and structure of the
standards. The GS1 XML Reader helps to get a more precise picture of
implementation needs for each business process.
The tool has been developed in cooperation with GEFEG, a German solutions provider .

The GS1 Viewer presents all of the GS1 XML message specifications in a
clear, easy-to-understand manner. It helps you to determine which parts
of messages need to be implemented. The messages are conveniently
organised by GS1 category. For more rapid understanding, you can
highlight selected data elements in sample XML documents, The tool has
been developed by Oakland Software, a US-based solutions provider.
