GS1net

Chris Cameron, eCommerce Manager, Foodstuffs South Island Limited

"As you know the cost to the industry for data inaccuracy is extremely high. As of 1st September 2007 EANnet became GS1net and subscribed itself to the Global Standards laid out for data integrity. The aim of the GS1net implementation is to improve and maintain data accuracy in the supply chain by receiving product data electronically from suppliers."

"Foodstuffs South Island, Foodstuffs Wellington and Foodstuffs Auckland have worked closely with GS1 NZ to develop our back office systems and to put in place the infrastructure necessary to receive your GS1net data.  Along with the New Zealand Food & Grocery Council Inc (FCG) we fully support this industry initiative and hope you recognise the many benefits that accurate data can bring you."
