Partnering with GS1 New Zealand
GS1 Solution Providers are particularly active members who seek opportunities to engage more closely with the GS1 community. There are three tiers to this programme - Premium Partner, Business Partner and Trade Member.
Premium Partners are mainly large organisations who work closely with us to help deliver a range of e-business and supply chain solutions. These members have access to a broad network of business contacts, and opportunities to submit their credentials for tenders and joint projects.
Following consultation, we structure a membership package that suits your particular business needs. Some extra benefits include chances to present to our GS1 community and access to key professional GS1 staff members. A package will also include all the benefits detailed below for Business Partners.
Business Partners are entitled to a wide range of benefits that include marketing and media opportunities at GS1 New Zealand member conferences (e.g. a trade exhibit booth, complimentary conference registrations). Similarly, a membership package that suits your particular business needs is structured.
Other Premium and Business Partner benefits can include:
- Complimentary advertising in SCAN magazine
- Use of the GS1 New Zealand logo on approved collateral and our website
- Annual allocation of complimentary GS1 New Zealand seminar registrations
- Complimentary Certificate Course registrations issued annually
- A reduced Accreditation fee plus complimentary annual licence fee (usually $1000)
- Appropriate Partner listing in the GS1 New Zealand Solution Providers Directory
- Opportunity for a company representative to participate in one of the Global Standards Management Process (GSMP) working groups
- Input to GS1 New Zealand Board representatives
- Annual full membership to GS1 NZ and associated benefits
Trade Members
This is the first tier entry to the Partner Programme and offers your organisation a range of benefits. These include:
- Two 50% discount vouchers to attend any GS1 New Zealand seminar (excludes member conferences), and GS1 member rates for seminars thereafter
- Trade Member listing in the GS1 New Zealand Solution Providers Directory
- Opportunity for a company representative to participate in one of the Global Standards Management Process (GSMP) working groups
- Copies of SCAN, plus discounted rates on advertising
- Advance notification of opportunities to partner with GS1 New Zealand at events
