GS1 NZ has received GS1 international awards in 2007 and 2009 for our superior business case studies, such as, for the implementation of EPCglobal RFID technolgy at Zespri.
In 2009, GS1 NZ was a finalist in the JRA Best Places to Work competition.
Awards
GS1 New Zealand is sponsoring Natcoll design students to come up with winning creative bar code designs. This collaborative competition has been running for a few years now and is for students in the Diploma of Computer Graphic Design course who are trained by GS1 NZ staff on global bar code standards. The students designs need to comply to these standards and pass GS1 NZ verification while also adding some design creativity to increase the attractiveness of the packaging.
