Accreditation Programme
GS1 New Zealand has developed an Accreditation Programme so that you can:
- get your products to market faster, by carrying out your own bar code verification - some partners may exempt you altogether from having to supply verification reports
- improve the service you provide to your trading partners (and enhance your reputation with them) through accurate and reliable bar-coding and scanning
- improve business efficiency by getting all aspects of the GS1 system right all of the time.
The Accreditation Programme provides training and a quality-assurance process that:
- ensures that your staff have the knowledge and skills they need to implement the GS1 system and standards accurately and to their fullest potential
- provides regular audits of your company so that you know the standards are being maintained
- provides an Accreditation manual to support your in-house documentation of polices and procedures
- gives your company an "accreditation number" so that your right to issue your own verification reports is recognised
- provides accreditation that is recognised throughout Australasia.
